Pond hopping

I can't quite believe that this day has come, but...

I just bought a one-way ticket to England.  As in, I am moving to a DIFFERENT COUNTRY.  For at least 2 years.  (Insert minor freakout here)  Come September, I'll be hopping the pond and moving to England for grad school.


I'm feeling a lot of excitement mixed with a pinch of nervousness...and joy...and terror...and elation...and, well, you get the point.

Oh, hi...

Sorry, sorry, it's been just about forever since I updated this blog.  Life has been SO busy, that I haven't had enough time for everything - what with doing several huge projects for work, training for the Walk for Hunger, and having unexpected surgery, things have been a little hectic.

All of my inclination to write vanished...I dove headfirst into work, coming up only to eat and breathe.  I had a very large project that I was working on for a work-related class that was consuming all of my free time.  Several thousand words later, I'm finally done with that and ready to start recreational writing (aka blogging) again!
