A little while ago, I participated in a South African singing workshop. The leader is from South Africa and runs a folk chorus there - I'd sung with her in a music summer camp that I did back when I was a teenager. It was great to sing South African folk music again and I had SO much fun! The song you see here (please pardon the sound quality, and the fact that you can hear some people singing louder than others - my camera doesn't get fantastic sound) is a praise song (the lyrics are mostly just Alleluia and Morena (God), with a handful of other words sprinkled throughout. You can see part of the dance that we're doing (raised hands) and when we start clapping and singing at the end, that's very typical of African Zionist church songs.
Enjoy!
